Today we will focus on the two teams who earned a bid to play in the National division via their region bid event. The region earns one bid and the others can come from reallocation. Also, we will capture the teams in the Liberty and Freedom Division who earned bids via qualifier tournaments, their region, or reallocation.
National
HPSTL 15 Royal
High-Performance St. Louis volleyball 15 Royal walked away with the region bid in the 15s age group. They won the event in late April to set themselves up for a chance at a natty after playing a heavy Open schedule. Their resume includes numerous top-10 finishes in the top division of USAV. Rockwood 15 Elite
The runner-up position came in handy when the reallocation process started and Rockwood got the call they would play in the National division. Like with HPSTL, this squad played Open in the qualifier season and was competitive along the way. The Addyson’s are players to keep an eye on. Liberty
HPSTL 15 Orange
15 Orange went and took their bid at MEQ Qualifier. They were one spot out in Florida at the Sunshine Classic, finishing third but they regrouped and were able to fight their way to a second-place spot at MEQ. This team stayed busy this spring playing in many tournaments across the region.
Freedom
Rockwood 15 White
15 White had a busy year that closed out with a 6th-place outing at their region bid event. This was good enough to earn their region’s Freedom bid. In March they also had a 9th-place performance at MEQ in the Liberty division.
FVA 15-1
Finesse Volleyball Academy out of the St. Peter’s area received a reallocated bid from Hawaii for a spot in nationals. Their attempts to qualify in the American division this season came up short, though they were competitive with a couple of top-ten performances. Ava Matthews is a 2026 setter on this roster to watch.
