Land of Lincoln is at the Great Lakes Center, and right in the heart of Downtown Chicago, the Asics National Volleyball Championships are taking place at Navy Pier. This is another tournament primarily made up of Great Lakes teams, but there are a number of Wisconsin teams and athletes headed down to the Windy City this weekend.
Katlyn is a powerhouse pin for RVA and an athlete that has been on this team for several years. She is smart and athletic. Katlyn typically plays all six rotations and is a natural leader on the court. She is an offensive weapon and go-to hitter. She has good power and great shots and finds ways to earn points in both the front and back row.
Lucia is an athlete who has been on my radar for several years but she truly impressed me at the Prep Dig Gauntlet a few weeks ago. She played lights out in all six rotations and was key for RVA in nearly every single play. She set in the back row and played offense in the front row. Lucia contributed on serve receive and defense as well.
