Kelsey Kim | 5’9″ | 2024 | OH/DS |
The long approach of nearly 20 feet brings a lot of attention on the court to Kelsey Kim. Additionally, she works to get to that deep of a position to be ready for any possibility of set location. Her slow to fast approach gets bigger and bigger with each step. When in the air, Kim will sometimes find a set and drop her left shoulder. This is amazing in that it gives her an entirely new perspective on how to attack that set and opposing blockers. She is not afraid to take a step and drop to one knee in serve receive.
Sophia Jun | 2025 | L |
Sophia Jun is good in her immediate space and seemingly knows it. Further, that confidence gives her patience to see the play develop. When the body is a clean attack past the blocker, she is excellent creating space away from her body to contact the ball. Amazingly, when the ball hits the block, her upper body finds a way to allow a ball to come close to her. Yet, she stills find an angle to the setter. There is an apparent focus for Jun to keep the ball on her side of the net. Additionally, with just eight seconds, give quick attention to her serve. The short serve she uses does drop quickly and the ref may be whistling to the next serve quickly.
Ceu Hernandez | 2025 | MB/OPP |
Understanding the difference of how to hit two different sets is a connection that Ceu Hernandez has made. Her game includes quick sets and higher rightside antenna hits. When hitting on the right, she coils up and unwinds that coil to generate power. When hitting in the middle, she gets her hitting arm up quick and brings the arm through quick. Additionally, she is up in the air quickly. She takes a long gaze at the pass to be up so soon on a middle quick attack.

is a highlight of her game. When a setter knows where, how fast, and how close her middle is coming from, look for that team to get to 25 in a hurry. She is usually a zone five hitter. Her left shoulder position also opens up more of the court for her to hit to. This hitting window allows Stillwell to whip a ball across her body when there is little space of zone five left in front of her. She touches a height of the second red, occasionally third white, on the antenna.
Sofia Indelicato | 5’10” | 2025 | S |
The setting of Sofia Indelicato can be described with two words: passing and careful. Her legal set does look something like she could be passing a basketball. Specifically, that arm, elbow, and wrist motion is very careful. This delivers great set accuracy. She plays great defense, always looking to dig high and to the middle of the court. Additionally, her body makes quick reactions. For example, knees bend at the last second. She slowly peers before the attack is sent over but then hustles to keep the ball off the floor.
