Kylie Sok | 5’6″ | 2024 | Mercy Prep High School
Kylie Sok was the hero of this match between the Bears and the Mariners. Blending old school and new school is the highlight of her heroism. She kept her head down and worked hard but also added new totals to her stat line. Specifically, Sok has 1.5 more kills per set than she averages on the season. Additionally, she recorded one to her three total solo blocks on the season. This point total from attacking and the monster block was just enough fuel to inspire the Bears through the sweep.

is, takes on it’s own interpretation for every player. Typically a dominating performer in terms of statistics, she opened the door for teammates to be effective. Her ability to express in many ways will continue to fuel not only her herself as a leader but her team as well. Additionally, she hits the middle to the top of the ball and uses every bit of her wrist. She reaches a height of the second white on the antenna and travels across the net with her arms high.
Nciole Vo | 5’11” | 2024 | S | Mercy High School
A steady calming presence with quick bursts of celebratory excitement is the way Nicole Vo directs a team as a setter. When setting the ball, she is near full extension with a contact point not to high and not to low. In some respects, the lower the contact point, the stronger Vo must be and her placement of her hands makes it great for pushing a fast tempo outside. She has feet that move very quickly and make small adjustments to get into the proper posture to set the ball. When getting up to the net, she stays very open to the play that is happening.
Ella Dueck | 6’0″ | 2027 | OH | Apotos High School
A polished player for her age, Ella Dueck will follow her setter’s navigation to prosperity for many years to come. Placement of her attack is her game. Specifically, Dueck noticeably adjusts to the set and block while in the air. Her excellent vision peripherally of the set and nearly straight on of the block opens up many options to score. When she is away from the ball during the attack phase, she eagerly watches for her teammates for get the kill. In sometimes limited time on the court, output has been quite productive at nearly four kills for every 10 attempts.
