Sydney Bates Sydney Bates 5'11" | S Portage Northern | 2025 State MI , Jr. S Portage Northern
Portage Northern had an impressive sweep of Gull Lake on Gull Lake’s home floor. The Northern offense had Gull Lake guessing throughout thanks to Sydney Bates Sydney Bates 5'11" | S Portage Northern | 2025 State MI , who played a masterful game at setter. She delivered a lot of highlight-reel feeds to her hitters while mixing in four kills of her own.
Allie Davison Allie Davison 5'10" | S Bloomfield Hills Marian | 2026 State MI , So. S Marian
Davison ran a very smooth offense for the Mustangs as they swept Berkley in a district final. She tallied 33 assists while the Mustangs hit .474 as a team and three different players had double-digit kills. Davison also had three digs and an ace.
Gabby DiVita Gabby DiVita 6'1" | OH Grosse Pt. South | 2026 State MI , So. OH Grosse Pointe South
In no surprise, DiVita was stellar once again while leading GP South to a sweep of rival GP North for a district championship. The sophomore built on her tremendous season by racking up 19 kills in the victory.
Mia Hyde, So. OH Trenton
The sophomore had a standout performance in the Trojans’ sweep of Wyandotte in the district final. The long hitter put down a total of 18 kills to lead the offense, routinely finding a home for her attacks.
Kate Kalczynski Kate Kalczynski 6'1" | OH Mercy | 2027 State MI , Fr. OH Mercy
The Marlins turned to the freshman outside often in their four-set district final win over Livonia Stevenson. Kalczynski continued to do what she has all season, putting down 19 kills to lead the Mercy offensive attack.
Kayla Nwabueze Kayla Nwabueze 6'2" | MB Bloomfield Hills | 2026 State MI , So. MH Bloomfield Hills
The sophomore standout really put Bloomfield Hills on her back in Friday’s district final, a four-set win over West Bloomfield. She had 23 kills through the four sets, while adding nine digs and two aces.
Cassidy Pratley Cassidy Pratley 6'0" | MB Harper Creek | 2025 State MI , Jr. MH Harper Creek
Harper Creek had a four-set district final with Coldwater and Pratley was the difference-maker to lead the Beavers to the win. She tallied 19 kills while also adding in a handful of blocks and aces to keep Coldwater from gaining momentum.
Molly Reck Molly Reck 5'10" | OH Northville | 2025 State MI , Jr. OH Northville
The Mustangs got an early test from South Lyon East, but ultimately came through with a sweep thanks in part to the play of Reck. She’s gotten consistently better throughout the season and showed up big in the district final with 17 kills.
Kate Schneider Kate Schneider 6'1" | MB L'Anse Creuse North | 2025 State MI , Jr. MH L’Anse Creuse North
Schneider was dominant in LCN’s four-set win over Chippewa Valley in the district final. The junior had 19 kills in the match while hitting an impressive .600. She also tallied three blocks, four digs and an ace to help lead LCN to the victory.
Jocelyn Shattuck, Jr. S Mason
The Bulldogs were able to sweep Okemos to claim a D1 district title and did so with a balanced offensive attack that was run by Shattuck. She fed the ball to multiple hitters and had really strong timing with her middles and outsides. Shattuck also added in some timely aces to give the Bulldogs an edge.
