Natalia Clifford | 5’10” | 2025 | OH | Tamalpais High School
The short approach of Natalia Clifford is something that gets her to the set in a short amount of time. Being compact creates excellent efficiency with movement that she does make. Additionally, she reaches high as she meets the ball in the air. That increases her advantage of controlling the ball off a blocker’s hands. She touches a height of the second white on the antenna. Clifford also passes fairly close to her body keeping consistent with small, efficient movements.
Natalie Stanford | 2026 | OH | Tamalpais High School
Natalie Stanford is a lefty that has an eye-catching attack game down the line. The first step of her approach is delayed and slow to move. This hesitation sets Stanford up to being great at making adjustments to unexpected set locations. When finding the court, she usually hits the ball within the last two feet before the sideline. Additionally, she goes and gets most sets picking them off in the air in front of her.
Karley Bordin | 5’6″ | 2024 | OH | Norte Dame High School
Taking big steps and covering a lot of ground is something Karley Bordin seems very comfortable doing. Taking an approach that looks to be nearly 18 feet long, she generates a lot of momentum into the ball. She will hit where the set takes her in addition to what the block allows. Additionally, Bordin has an occasional low to high, up and over, rollshot that just catches the endline.
Anna Anasari | 2024 | MB | Norte Dame High School
Patience and vision are likely two learned attributes to the game of Anna Anasari. Her approach gets her where she needs to be early as she waits for the set. The time she has before the set arrives opens up a lot of opportunity to scan the block and defense. With that vision, she effectively hits the ball hard through the block or around to a specific location. When hitting, she is also close to the net which can create a battle of wills with the opposing blocker.
Ari Juarez | 5’4″ | 2024 | S | Norte Dame High School
The footwork from Ari Juarez is consistent. There will be very few sets that a left step, right step into the ball is not found. Once the feet are seemingly planted into the ground, Juarez pushes off the floor to get some force behind her set. This leads to consistent outside set location. However, she does occasionally provide athletic diversity by setting off of one foot. Additionally, her jump float serve is effective starting on either side of the court.
