We’ll list who they are, what position, where they’re from, and a commitment, if applicable. We had over twenty new additions to these rankings, which is amazing for this class of well over 200 names!
Maya Joska, 6-1 S, Castle, Virginia Tech commit
I never got a chance to see Maya play in person, but when you do a little of everything for a program that’s been to the state finals two out of the last three seasons in the largest class in the state, you’re doing something right. She can hammer from the right side as a lefty arm, she sets a great offense and plays defense (net and floor) at an above-average level. With her entrance into the ACC, she can now focus on becoming a Power 5 volleyball stud. I’m looking forward to watching her play club this spring.
Savannah Gogel, 6-0 MB, Heritage, Northern Illinois commit
Although not from a traditional volleyball power, Savannah has all of the tools to hit from anywhere at the next level. Her commitment to the mid-major Huskies is huge for Heritage, and should open the floodgates of what’s possible for her size of school. Savannah is an excellent addition as an M2, and I have seen highlights of her putting balls away from both pins in multiple speeds of offense. Her continued training at Evansville United this spring should solidify her abilities even further.
Kendall Agler, 5-3 DS/L, Reitz Memorial, Evansville commit
As the ‘bro for Reitz, Kendall has held down the special jersey for some time now. She’s a left-back queen that excels in serve receive and her read-and-react abilities. More than most, she’ll stay on her feet for run-throughs rather than make the “miracle dive”, making her more active on defense throughout the play. Another Evansville United kid, Kendall will stay home for the mid-major Aces in the fall of ’25.
Kenli Sullivan, 5-11 OH, Bloomington North
Athletic and springy, Kenli plays the part of a fast-armed pin attacker, and was the primary attacker for a 20+-win Cougar program. I’d like to see a little more serve receive and floor defense, as her jumping ability is unquestionably high. Playing for B-Town, a smaller club out of Bloomington, hopefully she’ll see a bit more back row than she did during her junior season at Bloomington North. But for now, if you need a terminator from either pin, you could do far worse than Miss Sullivan.
Krista Lauck, 5-10 RS, Warsaw
As a combination of a right side and a setter, I can tell you right away that she can do both at a high level just because of her experience in beach ball. She can hit every shot, with pace and with precision, is smart when she attacks, and controls the ball well. As a club player at Empowered, Krista will see her fair share of both positions, but I’d like to list her as a right side for now. Her ball handling is exceptional as well, leading me to predict that she could be a six-rotation “control” outside at the next level. We shall see, but her ceiling is high.
