Kinley is a tough middle for the Guardians and was a huge factor in her team making it to the final four. She is going to be a deadly middle over the years and finished the season with 261 kills leading the 2027s for Class 4 and finishing 3rd in blocks with 71. Kinley has the tools already to be one of the top 2027s in the state regardless of Class.
Mikayla Fox Mikayla Fox 6'0" | MB St. Pius X | 2027 MO – 6’0” – St. Pius X (KC)
D1 is written all over this kid. She plays well about her age and hits with authority. She broke the school’s season record for blocks with 108 and led Class 4 2027 players in blocks having 36 more than the player in 2nd place. Mikayla can hit anywhere along the net and finished with 225 kills. Quick, great footwork, power, height all the tools to become a monster in the middle.
Jayla Williams Jayla Williams MB Rockwood Summit | 2027 MO – 5’11” – Summit
When I watched Jayla play I didn’t realize she was a freshman until halfway through the match. Another player with big-time hops and power. When she gets on top of the ball no one is digging it. She’s quick and athletic in the middle and will be a force for Summit. Finished with 175 kills and 38 blocks.
Rylee Lawrence Rylee Lawrence MB Festus | 2027 MO – 5’9” – Festus
Whether she stays in the middle or gets moved to the left pin, Rylee has the potential to become another tremendous volleyball player from Festus. She has a heck of an arm swing on either pin and moves quickly from the middle to close the block. Quick off the ground and patrols the net like a veteran. She finished tied for 2nd in blocks for Class 4 2027 players with 71.
Sydney Fenton – 5’10” – Fort Zumwalt South
Sydney’s going to be a heck of a player and already can pound it. She’s aggressive at the net, closes to the pins quickly, has great penetration, and is just a ball thumper. Mark Sydney down because she will be one of the better 2027s. The noise the crowd makes when she hits the ball is fun. They enjoy watching Sydney play.
