Taylor Larsen | MB | SG Elite
The hard working Taylor Larsen reaches high and usually hits slightly right of zone six or deep zone five. Whether an unexpected set or runs of opponent’s points, she handles adversity well. Specifically, she stays focused on what the responsibilities are for the position that she plays. Throughout a match, expect Larsen to be very engaged in communication with both her teammates and her coach. She follows the ball with her eyes and slightly with her body until necessary when she commits her body to a play.
Addison Roberson | S/OP | Saddleback
Addison Roberson is a 6-2 setter with quiet leadership traits. Provided her diverse skill set, the girls inside the lines follow her by matching an attitude of determination and quality touches on the volleyball. When hitting, she aims mostly deep in the court and especially down the line on the rightside. She hits slightly under the ball and rolls her hand over the top creating nice topspin. When setting, Roberson squares up to the outside antenna well with her heels getting slightly closer together upon contact.
Alexie Black | 2026 | RS | Nine Five One
An eager player like Alexie Black is active on the net. She is responding with small adjustments to nearly everything that happens in the two to five seconds the ball is on the opponent’s half court. When hitting, she finds the open court. Additionally, she will step in and play a ball during any volley that gets a bit chaotic. She keeps the energy positive with her teammates and always seems to be there for her team during times of stress. Black touches a height of the second white on the antenna.
Ellia Gustafson | 5’10” | 2026 | MB | COAST
The game of Ellia Gustafson includes an offspeed shot that defenders cannot sit back on the heels for. She will use what the set and the block gives her and turn that into a point scoring opportunity more often than not. When blocking, she patrols the net with small steps left and right. Her preparedness gets her very ready to make the big, longer blocking move. Gustafson plays an emergency ball with amazing flexibility and alertness to what is happening. She touches a height of the second white on the antenna.
Tessa Nyby | 5’11” | 2026 | RS | COAST
The standing float serve of Tessa Nyby is one that many saavy veterans of volleyball will enjoy to watch. Specifically, the deep serve has a bell curve loop shape to it that can find the back line of any court. When in the front row, she is brings to the match a crafty throw tip off the block. Her versatility shows that she can do this on a set falling inside or outside her expected hitting zone. Additionally, she presses just her hands across the net low and fast. When in the back row, Nyby lays out with an outstretched hand to pick up a opponent’s offspeed attack.
