It was held in Kansas City, MO on February 17-19th. Three days of immensely competitive volleyball taking place with teams from all over the country. Let’s take a look at players who really turned my head with their play at this prestigious tournament to earn a Top Performer award.
Keonahi’ilani Solaita Keonahi’ilani Solaita 5'10" | OH Oak Hills | 2025 State CA [2025] 5-9 Outside (HS: Oak Hills/Club: Forza1 North/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Keonahi’ilani is currently ranked as the 48th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Oak Hills High School and will plays club for the Forza1 North volleyball program. Miss Solaita is a silky smooth baller who has total ball control in every aspect of the game. She moved over to a team filled with studs this season and it was a true joy to watch them ball at the Triple Crown tourney. In set two of the match that I watched, this young lady was amazing in the back row passing balls perfectly to target. Her balanced footwork is so amazing to watch when she moves and contacts the ball. As an attacker, she still has the hops and arm swing to light up the opposition with bombs. It is beautiful to watch her face angle and then turn on the ball down the line with awesome power to score a hard kill. She is exactly the type of player that will bring her high volleyball IQ and tremendous competitiveness to a team to help propel them to the top of their conference. Help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for the Triple Crown tourney.
Anya Baklenko [2027] 5-8 Setter (HS: Oaks Christian/Club: Sports Academy /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Anya is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball for Oaks Christian High School and also plays club for the Sports Academy volleyball program. Miss Baklenko might be one of the best setters in her grad class. She is playing up not one age group, but two during this club season. Her and her fellow Sports Academy teammates were competing hard at the Triple Crown NIT. In order to play up two age groups and excel, it takes a lot of physical and mental toughness. This is exactly how to describe Anya as a setter. I love how she incorporates the middle into the offensive system of her team this year. She uses her jump set well to set up great one on one match ups for her attackers. The ball just flies out of her hands so fast to every location and this creates a lot of seams in the block for her hitters. Her serve was also stifling to opposing serve receivers as she dropped a few perfect short zones to score some aces. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this wonderful prestigious tourney.
Asia Udo-Ema Asia Udo-Ema 6'0" | OH Corona Centennial | 2027 CA [2027] 6-0 Outside (HS: Corona Centennial/Club: Forza1 North/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Asia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because I have not released them yet. She plays volleyball for Centennial High School and also plays club for the Forza1 North volleyball program. Miss Udo-Ema flexed some serious muscles at the Triple Crown NIT this past weekend. She helped lead her team to an Open division championship with some awesome play. Her right arm was very electric as she sliced it through the air to score for her squad. I loved watching her block as she used some solid and quick footwork to set the block for her middles on the left side pin. What also showed very well was her amazing timing for every hitter that tried to score against her. What college coaches will love about her ability to play six rotations is how balanced she is with her entire body at the point of contact of the pass. Asia is in total control of her body and that will keep her at the pinnacle of her game for years to come. By playing up an age group, she is getting the experience needed to be one of the best players in her grad class. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award.
