Here’s how it works: I’ll pop up a random number generator that includes the 2026 rankings. I’ll generate 10 numbers and the 10 that come up will be the ranking of the player. I’ll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention.
There’s 110 players ranked in our Class of 2026. Let’s see who has the lucky numbers this month:
82. Taniya Radden Taniya Radden 5'9" | MB Ottawa Hills | 2026 State MI , MH Ottawa Hills/MVA
Radden has a lot of potential, as she can play anywhere along the net and has the ability to adapt well to the play. She’s shown she can put away out-of-system balls and now getting a chance to really wind up on in-system swings this club season with Rise Academy. When she gets the chance to unleash, Radden shows just how much potential her swing has.
69. Sylvie Sinke Sylvie Sinke 6'0" | MB Hudsonville | 2026 State MI , MH Hudsonville/FaR Out
Sinke was a nice steady contributor for Hudsonville toward the end of the prep season. She was finishing at a solid rate and put a nice pop on the ball. The 6-foot middle has shown she can play in an up-tempo offense and keep pace. As her swing and blocking instincts continue to improve, Sinke has the ability to turn some heads.
48. Sarah Pippin Sarah Pippin 5'11" | OH Edwardsburg | 2026 State MI , OH Edwardsburg/NIVA
Pippin has already displayed an ability to be a go-to hitter and carry the offensive load. She’s been a kill machine for Edwardsburg and set for a breakout 2024 prep season. In club season, Pippin is working with Northern Indiana Volleyball and working hard to become a six-rotation option for her teams. Pippin has the power and athletic swing to be a shining star in this class.
13. Maggie Szlachcic Maggie Szlachcic 5'11" | OH Hudsonville | 2026 State MI , OH Hudsonville/FaR Out
After getting a chance to compete against the best in the state with Hudsonville this prep season, Szlachcic has been a power finisher on the right side for FaR Out 16 Black this club season. The near 6-footer is able to explode off the floor and has good hang time. That allows her to come down hard over the ball and score consistently. She’s got the swing mechanics to excel at the pin.
78. Elizabeth White Elizabeth White 5'4" | DS/L Saline | 2026 State MI , DS/L Saline/Team Detroit
White has been able to show a lot of consistency with her serve receive. She’s always locked in and it looks robotic in her repetitive ability to cleanly place the ball to her setters. White shows in complete control in the back row and is improving on her leadership skills. White also has a promising serve that has been able to be a game changer.
45. Maya Zarow Maya Zarow 5'10" | OH Mercy | 2026 State MI , OH Mercy/Michigan Elite
Zarow was a big contributor for Mercy’s championship run this fall. The sophomore has a good foundation. She always challenges the defense, no matter what kind of ball she is set. Zarow also can come through with some solid defensive plays, as she’s quick on her feet and able to play with instincts. Zarow has gotten a lot of opportunities to shine and she hasn’t disappointed yet.
54. Mallory Stoy Mallory Stoy 5'4" | DS/L Novi | 2026 State MI , DS/L Novi/Michigan Elite
Stoy is another strong defensive minded player that comes from the Novi program. Stoy is a driven player that knows her positioning well and doesn’t waste energy on the floor. When she moves, it is with purpose and intention as she anticipates the ball is heading in that direction. Most of the time, she is right. Stoy’s first contact is great and consistent and her ability to stay ahead of the play is a big reason why.
37. Elise Hiemstra Elise Hiemstra 5'11" | OH Detroit Country Day | 2026 State MI , OH Country Day/Legacy
Hiemstra is one of the many big power arms for Legacy 16-1 ADIDAS. She’s definitely a player that is one the rise, as she’s getting more opportunities to shine against top competition. Her swing is fast and technically sound, and her finishing rate is getting better and better. Hiemstra is likely to take on a much bigger role with Country Day next fall as she’s showing she can be a reliable six-rotation outside.
1. Kayla Nwabueze Kayla Nwabueze 6'2" | MB Bloomfield Hills | 2026 State MI , MH Bloomfield Hills/Legacy
Nwabueze isn’t just the top-ranked 2026 prospect in Michigan, but she’s one of the very best in the nation. She’s a do-everything player for Bloomfield Hills during the prep season. She dominates at the net with her hitting and blocking, but is a polished defender as well. This club season, Nwabueze has helped catapult Legacy 16-1 ADIDAS to being a Triple Crown champ and one of the best 16U teams in the country.
59. Peyton Lowes Peyton Lowes 5'11" | S Northville | 2026 State MI , S/RS Northville/Michigan Elite
Lowes is approaching 6’0” and she’s running a smooth Michigan Elite 16 Elite offense this club season. The ball has a very nice touch off Lowes’ hands, but she’s really connecting well with her middles this club season. Lowes is also able to play the right side, where she’s got a compact and powerful swing. Her general court IQ and feel for the game are at a high level.
