Held at the Salt Palace Convention Center and live streamed via BallerTV, this event is amazing! This article series will discuss some of the players that turned the heads of the court coaches and scouts that were in attendance. Let’s see who earned the Top Performer award from the showcase.
Adriana Dorn Adriana Dorn 6'0" | S Ripon | 2026 CA [2026] 6-0 Setter/Right Side (HS: Ripon/Club: Rage/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Adriana is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but is on our official Watch List after what I just witnessed. She plays volleyball for Ripon High School and also plays club for the Rage volleyball program. Hands down Miss Dorn was the best setter in the entire gym and was nominated by multiple court coaches for this award. Not only were her skills top notch, but she had the best attitude of any of the players in attendance. You can tell she just loves to play the game. Her smile and positive approach to her teammates and coaches was contagious to everyone around her. When you mix that amazing attitude with the frame and skills of a top-level setter, you have the recipe for one amazing college recruit. I cannot wait to add her to the State Rankings and see where she falls on the list. Her hands are super soft and she has the power to deliver the ball to any place she wants to no matter where she is located on the court. Just when you think that is all she has in her repertoire, she is a very highly skilled attacker also. In my opinion, she is a can’t miss player that all college coaches need to be watching asap. Put her on your short list of athletes to watch for the foreseeable future and you will not be disappointed. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award at the showcase.
Madilyn Reyes [2028] 5-5 Setter (HS: Harlan/Club: San Antonio Magic /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Madilyn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She will play volleyball for Harlan High School and also plays club for the San Antonio Magic volleyball program. Miss Reyes stood out to quite a few of our court coaches and was nominated for this awesome award. She was immediately moved up to the older courts when we saw what kind of balls were being delivered by her awesome hands. Madilyn showed some awesome poise and stayed calm while playing with the older top-level courts. I liked how she was ready defensively to pursue any ball that fell near her zone. What also stood out with her play was her quick and steady footwork when tracking the pass down. With some great anticipation, she was able to get stopped and balanced before contacting the ball to set it. As a distributor, she really did a great job of moving the ball around to all of her hitters very well. We will be keeping our eyes on her as she progresses through her career. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
Mia Groom [2026] 5-10 Middle (HS: Immaculata La Salle/Club: Miami Hype/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Mia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Florida State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Immaculata La Salle and plays club for the Miami Hype volleyball program. There were very few middles who played as well as Miss Groom last night at the showcase. She was on the top court and stole the show at the net. Routinely she battled extremely well with every attacker that tried to get the best of her. I loved how fast she was laterally while moving to close the block. Mia was super aggressive and that led to many points being saved or won by her squad. I watched her receive coaching from her court coaches and immediately implement what was told to her. College coaches will love how coachable she is for sure. As an attacker, she has a very live arm that is always ready to strike. Her awesome attitude was noticed and mentioned by quite a few court coaches. This speaks volumes about what type of player Mia is and we couldn’t be more excited to be following her journey as a recruit. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
