Already one of the greatest spots for talent in the state, the Class of 2026 is full of players from Oakland County that are sure to shine at the college level.
Many have already proven to be big on production at the varsity and club levels.
Here’s Part 1 of our 2-part look at the shining 2026 stars from Oakland County.
Players listed alphabetically
Ella Andrews Ella Andrews 6'4" | MB Mercy | 2026 State #25 Nation MI , MH Mercy/Legacy
Andrews is a 6’4” middle and that already puts her in an elite class, as you can’t teach that kind of size and length. However, she moves very well along the net and is agile in her blocking and hitting. Andrews can make all the swings as a middle and is certainly going to be a top prize for a D1 college program.
Allie Davison Allie Davison 5'10" | S Bloomfield Hills Marian | 2026 State MI , S Marian/Michigan Elite
Davison had big shoes to fill at setter this past fall with Marian, but she raised her game quickly and looked like a natural by season’s end. Davison can run a very up-tempo offense and utilize a lot of different hitters. Her defensive instincts are at a high level as well.
Skyye Frailey Skyye Frailey 5'10" | OH Athens, Troy Michigan | 2026 State MI , OH Troy Athens/L2
Frailey has been very productive for Troy Athens thus far, as she’s trusted to be a six-rotation outside for the Red Hawks. Frailey does a good job of staying within herself and making a smart play over forcing power. She’s smooth from the back row, delivering competitive attacks regularly. Her defensive instincts get better with each week as well.
Jillian Gibbs Jillian Gibbs 5'11" | MB Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep | 2026 State MI , MH Orchard Lake St. Mary’s/L2
Gibbs is one of two solid middles for the Eaglets program. She looks very comfortable in a lead role for her teams. She isn’t afraid to battle with anyone at the net. Listed at 5’11”, Gibbs is probably on the 6-foot side of things now. She’s got that kind of length, anyway. Gibbs is a fierce blocker and she has a confident swing that comes down at a hard angle.
Charlotte Gramzow Charlotte Gramzow 5'10" | OH Lutheran Northwest | 2026 State MI , OH Lutheran Northwest/Michigan Elite
One of the top hitters in Division 3, this Lutheran Northwest product has worked hard to be among the top outsides in the entire class. She puts a lot on her shoulders to carry her team, but she can impact a game with her offense, defense or serving. Gramzow moves very smoothly around the floor and likes the challenge of going up against the best.
Elise Hiemstra Elise Hiemstra 5'11" | OH Detroit Country Day | 2026 State MI , OH Country Day/Legacy
Hiemstra is another solid prospect from the Country Day program, which has produced a lot of elite hitters. The last year has shown that Hiemstra has what it takes to be a six-rotation player. She can handle a big workload offensively and has improved in her passing and serve receive.
Cree Hollier Cree Hollier 5'8" | MB Mercy | 2026 State MI , MH Mercy/Michigan Elite
Hollier definitely is as explosive as they come. Standing just 5’8”, Hollier has shown that her size is not a determinant at the middle position. She plays well above the net as has tremendous power on her attacks. Elite teams have struggled to come up with a way to slow her down, as she’s proven to be a game changer.
