Our final update of the class of 2026 rankings added a ton of athletes, had some major changes at the top and got us to almost 100 committed athletes for the next level. With each update, we have separate articles that discuss what changed, who's available at each position, and a unique series of lists that you won't find anywhere else.

So What's New?

Adding nearly 40 athletes to this list makes it that much bigger, and adding athletes' college choices also contributes to the “newness” of the rankings.

What Makes This Ranking Unique?

At PrepDig, our rankings are predictive—-we look to how an athletes' future might be, not where each athlete is right now. These rankings are also subjective in that this is an opinion, and far from set in stone. I cannot stress how many times we've received critical emails from people thinking that a person is “better” than someone else because of a number on a webpage. These rankings are a futures study, nothing more.

So What Will We Read This Week?

The next few articles tell the story of what's changed and what's to come for this group. Upcoming articles include Stock Risers and positional breakdowns as to who's still available in the class of ‘26. In some cases, we have yet to confirm a player's club team, so that part might be blank. But for the rest, we're receiving up-to-the-minute updates on athletes and their commitments.

How Can I Help Make These More Accurate?

We always accept club and college commitment information from anyone that's willing to help us out. With over 1000 athletes between the four active graduating class rankings, it's highly possible that we've missed a couple. Remember to be kind in your communication with us, as we ignore threats and insults that belie the character of the sender. After all, this is about the student athlete and NOT about adults that are far beyond their prime.

So Now What?

This will be the last week that we will focus on the class of 2026. As time passes and the signing calendar moves forward, there is less and less focus on the senior class, and more attention put on younger classes. I'm even tasked with starting a class of 2030 watch list, which is this year's eighth graders.
