Another top outside hitter from Texas emerges as the top player in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='586653' first='Maya' last='Ogbogu'] changes the game where she preps at Allen High School and has been leading the way for one of the top club teams in the country in TAV 16 Black Yun. Ogbogu recently led her team to a title at the Summer NIT going 9-0 overall and didn't drop a set. What makes her game different is her ability to score in multiple ways from anywhere on the court. She is just as lethal flying out of middle back as she is on the outside. Her athleticism and physicality is mature beyond her years. This will be an exciting week for Ogbogu along with the rest of this class as they can talk to coaches (and receive offers) on Monday, June 15. Texas has been able to pick up the top kids from the Lone Star state, however in Ogbogu's backyard is SMU who has made major waves in the recruiting world the past couple of years.

Bergen Reilly our of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Kairos Volleyball has asserted herself as one of the top setters in the college game and getting looks for the USA senior national team. There is another up and coming setter from the Sioux Falls area playing for Kairos in Josalyn Samuels. Kairos 16 Alpha has put together quite a season including a final four finish at the Summer NIT. She nails all the tempos, she commands the court while also being able to lock it down with her block and can be offensive when called upon.
