The Vikings have a group of quality seniors who would like to play at the collegiate level.
The Three Stars of the Game
L, Tatiana Halupa, 5’5” – Halupa had a solid defensive game in the loss. She finished with 11 digs in the match against West Franklin. She is a really smooth player and she takes control of the back row. Halupa is a great communicator, she projects as a JUCO player.
OH, Megan Deters, 5’4” – Deters is not the tallest player on the Vikings squad, but she arguably is the best jumper. She had a team-high 14 digs and four kills in the two-set loss.
OH, Ashlynn Fast, 5’10”– Fast is a raw talent with a volleyball frame. She had four kills and four blocks in the home loss. Fast is an NAIA or JUCO level talent.
None of the three Viking seniors have received college offers at the date of publication.
One underclassman on the Mission Valley roster to keep an eye on is sophomore Paige Martin. Like Deters, she is a solid front-row and back-row player.
