The Hawks advanced to the regional semifinals with Crocket among team leaders offensively at over two kills per set primarily from the left side of the court. She is athletic and showed a lot of confidence in her play with good decision making to swing aggressively when on time and balance while controlling her shots well in broken plays. She improves her point scoring effectiveness if she can maximize her lift off the floor with a higher elbow through her arm swing.
Kamryn Hunt – 6’1 | Northview
A solid multi-sport athlete in both volleyball and basketball, Hunt now has multiple seasons under her belt as a varsity volleyball contributor as just a sophomore. A long and rangy athlete, Hunt led the Wildcats with 4.4 kills per set as they were able to capture the district title in 2020. With totals of 423 kills, 293 digs, and 35 service aces on the season, she was the only sophomore to earn Division I all-Ohio honors among the first three teams as she was a 3rd team selection.
Ninah Miranda – 5’10 | Lebanon
Miranda had a terrific sophomore season for the Warriors as she tallied an average of 3.7 kills per set in helping lead her team offensively and to an undefeated conference season. She builds good momentun through her approach patterns and has a big arm in the air when on balance that can produce a lot of pace. She has good athleticism and elevates well to be able to score from both the front and back row. She was also among team leaders defensively at over 12 digs per match.

Part of the Comets’ trio of primary offensive options, Mirka terminated 2.2 kills per set. She has good size as a left pin attacker and showed good aggressiveness to challenge the opponent’s defense at the net with her arm. Improving her footwork to get her feet to the ball on balance will help her maximize her jump better and increase her contact point. Averaging over nine digs per match, she was a key piece for Conventry and their success in reaching the regional finals in 2020.
