Cordes was the league’s athlete of the year as she led Wyoming to a 20-6 overall record and a league championship, their 11th in a row. She was a prolific scorer as the Cowboys’ primary offensive threat with over 1,000 attempts on the season. She averaged five kills per set while attacking at a .299 efficiency. She also added nearly 10 digs per match while earning 3rd team all-0hio in Division II.
Kyla Hackman – 2022 | OH | Reading
Improving upon her 2nd team all-league honor from 2019, Hackman terminated 226 kills on the season at a 3.1 kills per set average. The junior outside hitter was also very effective on the defensive side as she averaged 12.5 digs per match, landing her among the top 10 in the league.

Michaela Beiting – 2022 | MH | Indian Hill
In addition to her all-league honor, Beiting also earned District 16 3rd-team honors for 2020. She terminated 260 kills on the season while hitting at a solid efficiency at .363. She also earned postseason accolades as a result of her league-leading net play as she collected a total of 91 blocks on the season.
Sydney Lawrence – 2023 | DS/L | Wyoming
Lawrence was this team’s leader defensively and part of Wyoming’s trio of terrific sophomore athletes. She led the Cowboys with 13.5 digs per match. She also provided a big lift from the service line as she was among team leaders (3rd in the league) in total service aces on the season while they also scored the most points in her service rotation.
Julia Richman – 2023 | S | Wyoming
The setter among this trio of sophomore athletes for Wyoming, Richman earned her share of postseason awards. In addition to all league selection, she also earned 2nd team all-district and league all-academic honors in helping the Cowboys win both league and district titles. She commanded this Wyoming offense well as she tallied a league-leading 792 assists while averaging 10.8 per set. The team averaged over 11 kills per set while hitting .218 on the season. Defensively she added 1.2 blocks and 5.8 digs per match.
