Here is a look at three players who hope to lead their teams to a Power League Championship.
OH, Dylan Holmes, 5’8”, Lawrence Juniors 17-1 (Olathe Northwest) – Holmes is getting a chance to shine during the club season. She plays high school ball on a deep and talented Olathe Northwest squad. She had 10 digs and five kills in just 15 sets of Varsity ball in 2020. She is a hard worker who has improved by practicing with one of the best teams in Kansas. The Lawrence Juniors are the No. 4 Seed in Pool A which also includes, Dynasty 17-1, Club North 17-1, and Dynasty Academy 17-1.
S, Anna Wineland, 5’8”, Air Capital Aces 17-1 (Bishop Carroll) – Wineland is a solid setter who plays with winning programs. She communicates well and has solid hands. The Air Capital Aces are the No. 4 Seed in Pool B and will play against KC Power 17-1, PVA 17-1, and MAVS KC 17-1.
OH, Gianna Cooper, 5’8”, Kansas United 17-1 (Lawrence) – Cooper is a hustle player for Kansas United 17-1. Her teammates feed off her energy. She has a solid swing and is a big jumper. Kansas United 17-1 is the No. 3 Seed in Pool C. The other three teams in Pool C are Mavs KC 17-2, Dynasty 17-2, Dynasty 17-3.
Participants in Pool D are 417 Columbia 17-1, MAVS 816 17-1, THR33 17-2, and THR33 17-1. Those four teams are made up of players primarily from Missouri.
