As emails come pouring in as we see after every ranking update it’s important to add this note: sometimes a player moving down has more to do with players moving up. Here are the top ten with a few notes about each player.
There is little we can add about a player we’ve been talking about for three years. The best thing we can say is she continues to get better and work on improving in all areas of her game. She had 488 kills and 248 digs for Olathe Northwest.
The Florida International pledge tag teams with Pierce on the high school scene and displays her versatility on the court. She had over 250 kills, over 200 digs, and 455 assist for the Ravens. She has looked good this winter for her KC Power squad.
McAleer, the Purdue commit continues to distance herself as one of the top defenders in the country in this age group. I’ve seen quite a bit of video of her in action but it’s nothing like watching her live. Her play always seems to have people sitting court side drop their jaws on occasions with her stellar defensive play. She moved up one spot to the third position.

Green is still our top ranked “pure setter” in the class. Though she also takes swings from the pin, she will be setting for Cincinnati as they transition into the Big 12. Her decision making is the quality that stands out the most for the Blue Valley North standout.
Campbell bumps into the top 5 after another state championship run with her Heritage Christian mates. We’ve watched this explosive middle play up the last couple of seasons but watching her play with her class looks a little different. Her athleticism has allowed her to cause some damage to opponents in the first couple of months of the club season.

Stucky had a very strong fall after making the move to Maize South for her junior season. She dished out close to 800 assists and contributed over 100 kills. She is setting this year for a strong Shockwave club. She will be heading to Knoxville in a year for her college ball.
Ingram is a player we have seen their stock rise over the last year. She was huge for Washburn Rural as they captured the Kansas 6A state title. She teams up with Campbell in the middle for the Dynasty team who will be in the mix for a national title. The UNLV commit is so good on the slide and puts up a big block.

One of the top all-around athletes in the country comes in at the 8th spot in Van Gorp. She will be a defender at the next level in Ames, Iowa but we’ve seen her take off heads from the pin for Heritage Christian. She is a premier defender for her KC Power squad.
Another player making a slight jump after a state title run is the 6’2″ Grimes. She is a great defender and has a lively arm in the middle for St. Thomas Aquinas and now Mavs KC, after seasons with KC Power . She had 224 kills and 105 blocks in 2022.
Finalizing our top ten is the Wichita State bound outside hitter, Gracie Morrow Gracie Morrow 5’11” | OH Maize South | 2024 State KS from Maize South. She has shown the ability to bounce some balls from all over the court. She had 326 kills and 233 digs.
