Here is the third of multiple scouting reports from the Power League action in Bel Aire.
Hayden Grimes, 5’7”, OH/L, Andale, ‘26
Grimes had a huge match. She started at Libero, but after an injury, the team was down to six athletes suited up and she moved to a hitting position. Grimes finished the match with eight kills, seven serve receptions, and five digs.
Brooklyn Benoit Brooklyn Benoit 5'11" | OH Wichita Northwest | 2026 State KS , 5’8”, MH Northwest (Wichita), ‘26
Benoit has “Go-Go Gadget Arms.” The Wichita Northwest product has a long reach and sweet swing. Benoit had seven kills, 10 serve receptions, and eight digs. She hits the ball with authority and is a floor leader. She also stepped her game up to lead her team in the come-from-behind victory.
Sainya Barber, 5’8”, MH Northwest (Wichita), ‘26
A second Grizzly prospect is Sainya Barber. She can flat-out jump and plays with a bit of a chip on her shoulder. Barber finished with four kills, three digs, and one block. She is a solid all-around player who has a huge vertical.
Suttyn Harris, 5’11”, OH, Inman, ‘26
She had three kills, two serve receptions, and one dig, before injuring her knee mid-way through the first set. The entire team played awestruck for the remaining set before bouncing back to win the match. Harris might have the highest ceiling of any member of the team.
Mason Palace Mason Palace 6'1" | MB Kapaun Mt. Carmel | 2026 State KS , 5’11”, MH, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, ‘26
Palace is an interesting prospect who will benefit from more growth in her game. She finished with nine kills, four digs, and one block. Palace has a compact powerful swing. She has a high motor and will be a big-time Class of 2026 prospect as everything comes together for her.
