Alysa Ward – Summit Christian

Defensive Specialists/Liberos
Megan Hoover – Park Hill
Hoover has had a solid junior year as a defensive specialist – with 62 digs in 13 sets played. Unfortunately, it was a five-set thriller that ended in a loss for Park Hill. The two teams find themselves in opposite pools in the Platte County Tournament, but a match-up is possible in bracket play later in the day.
Abby Sollars – St. Joseph Central
Sollars – photo courtesy fieldlevel.comThe senior has been a fantastic libero for St. Joe Central for three seasons. And they will be glad to have Sollars – who made her name known to St. Joseph, making the All-City team as a sophomore.
Presli Firkins – Platte County
Firkins is a great presence as a libero for Platte County. So far this season, the junior has had 122 digs in 25 sets played. In addition, she has had 120 serve receptions. If that wasn’t enough for the Pirates, Firkins has chipped in 14 aces, including four in a win against Raytown South.
