For Lexington United Volleyball, 14 Adidas, 44 Adidas and 14 Baden are among the squads competing in the current club campaign.
Lexington is home to some of the top 14-year-old volleyball players in the state. Middle schools in Lexington and surrounding cities boast many experienced volleyball players, several of whom have excelled in previous school and club seasons.
Here are 10 Lexington 14s to watch.
Reese Collins: A 5-11 eighth grade middle hitter, Collins is a student-athlete from Leestown Middle School. Collins is competing for Lexington United 14 Adidas.
Ashley Dawson: A 5-11 eighth grade middle hitter, Dawson is a student-athlete from Beaumont Middle School. Dawson is competing for Lexington United 44 Adidas.
Delaney Gash: A 5-11 eighth grade outside hitter, Gash is a student-athlete from Beaumont Middle School. Gash is competing for Lexington United 14 Adidas.
