Here are five versatile Eastern Kentucky juniors to be.
Kaylee Elam Kaylee Elam OH Wolfe County | 2022 State KY : A sophomore middle hitter/outside hitter, Elam is a student-athlete from Wolfe County High School. Helping to lead Wolfe County to a 55th District runner-up finish and an appearance in the 14th Region Volleyball Tournament in 2019, Elam flourished as a sophomore. Elam is ready to hit all times and uses her agility to pass and produce at the net.
Madison Hamilton: A sophomore middle hitter/outside hitter/right side hitter, Hamilton is a student-athlete from Betsy Layne High School. Hamilton led Betsy Layne throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season. Hamilton paced 58th District runner-up Betsy Layne in kills and blocks. A proven leader who is able to hit consistently from either side, Hamilton was a force at various positions. Along with delivering stellar hitting, Hamilton is an efficient passer.
Abbey Howard: A sophomore outside hitter/middle hitter. Howard is a student-athlete from Leslie County High School. Helping to lead Leslie County to a 54th District title and an appearance in the 14th Region Volleyball Tournament Semifinals in 2019, Howard thrived from multiple positions. As an outside hitter, Howard passed and blocked well in addition to being a solid hitter.
Gabrielle Howard: A sophomore outside hitter/right side hitter, Gabrielle Howard contributed for 15th Region champion Floyd Central throughout the 2019 high school volleyball season. Gabrielle Howard thrived as a hitter from both sides, elevating well and finishing strong. The versatile sophomore from Floyd Central was strong at the net, showing stout blocking skills.
McKinlee Potter: A sophomore outside hitter/right side hitter/middle blocker, Potter is a student-athlete from Pikeville High School. As a sophomore in 2019, Potter ranked second in kills for high school team. A talented all-around performer, Potter carries pass, attack, block, serve and defense responsibilities well wherever she is on the floor. Potter excels at attacking and digs for quick attacks regularly.
