Sports Performance has produced a total of 73 AAU/JVA/USAV National Championship teams, including eight USAV 18 Open national championships. In all, Sports Performance has had 291 AAU All-Americans and has sent 579 alumni to play collegiate volleyball at 226 different universities and colleges.
We are really looking forward to the camp in Lincoln,” Butler said “With the camp taking place just before the start of the high school season we are going to break the training emphasis into two areas. The morning sessions (9-12) are going to be geared toward individual and position development. The players will be spending a good deal of the A.M. session training their individual ball control skills and also working in special groups on position training.
“In the afternoon (1-3) we will concentrate on situational and component training so the players can train techniques that they practice during the morning session. This will involve small groups (3 vs. 3, 4 vs. 4, 5 vs. 5) as well as 6 vs. 6 training and competition.”
