KEARNEY – Ord made a lot of noise a couple weeks ago with its performance at the UNO competitive team camp and is at it again at the Nebraska Top 10 Camp at Kearney Catholic.
In the Class A/B/C1 division of the camp, Ord sits atop Pool A with a perfect 12-0 set record in six matches. Meanwhile, Grand Island Northwest also has been impressive in taking the lead in Pool B with a mark of 11-1.
A total of 18 teams are competing in the division with the squads divided into two pools of nine. Each team plays the other eight teams in its pool, and that portion of the camp will conclude at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The top 5 in each pool this advance to the Gold Championships pool, where the top 5 from pool A will face the top 5 in pool B. The team that finishes those five matches with the best set record is the team champion.
