President’s Day Club Division Recap: 25 Nebraska Teams Still in Title Hunt

OMAHA - A total of 25 teams from Nebraska are still alive for championships in the Club divisions at the Asics President's Day Classic.

In 18 Club, none of the remaining three Nebraska teams made the championship bracket as Club Legacy 18 ROX went 1-2 and Premier 18 Black and Performance 18 NIKE each went 0-3.

Meanwhile, in 17 Club, Premier 17 Black and Club Legacy 17 ROX each went 3-0 and Nebraska ONE 17 Shockwave went 2-1 and all three teams reached the championship bracket. Nebraska Elite 17 KOA went 0-3 and Performance 16 NIKE went 1-2 and were each eliminated from title contention.

In 16 Club, Nebraska Elite 16 Mojo, Premier 16 Black and Nebraska ONE 16 Heist each went 3-0 while Banzai 161 and Club Legacy 16 ROX each went 2-1 as all five teams reached the championship bracket. Premier 16 Red was eliminated after going 1-2.

Five teams reached the 15 Club championship bracket with Club Legacy 15 ROX and Premier 15 Black each going 3-0 while Nebraska ONE 15 Titanium, VCNebraska 15 Black and Premier 15 Red each going 2-1. Nebraska Elite 15 Fortis went 2-1 but was eliminated on tie-breakers while Performance 15 NIKE and Nebraska Elite 15 Titanium each went 1-2 and were eliminated.

In 14 Club, Nebraska ONE 14 Xtreme, Premier 14 Black and Premier 14 Red each went 3-0 while Performance 14 NIKE and South Central Nebraska 14 Black went 1-2 and all five reached the championship bracket. Club Legacy 14 Accelerator went 1-2 while Papillion Volleyball Club, Nebraska Elite 14 Alliance and Premier 14 Silver each went 0-3 and were eliminated.

Nebraska Elite 13 Thunder, Premier 13 Gold and Premier 13 Black each went 3-0 to make the 13 Club championship bracket. Meanwhile, VCNebraska 13 Black, Performance 13 NIKE, Nebraska ONE 13 Shockerz and VCNebraska 13 Elite each went 1-2 and were eliminated.

Finally, in 12 Club, Nebraska ONE 13 Voltz went 3-0 to advance to the championship bracket along with Premier 12 Black, Nebraska Elite 12 Synergy and Premier 12 Gold, which each went 2-1. Club Legacy 12 ROX also went 2-1 but finished third in its pool because of tie breakers and was eliminated. Club Legacy 12 Shattered and Nebraska Elite 12 Zinc each went 1-2 and Nebraska ONE 12 Acrez was 0-3 and all were eliminated.
