Today we will complete the 2016 state tournament field as Class B, C-1 and C-2 play their Round of 16 matches. Last year they were called substate matches. This year the NSAA is calling them district finals. For simplicity, I’m just referring to these matches as the Round of 16 because, well, that’s what it is.
For fun, here are Nebraska Prep Volleyball’s predictions for what will happen today. How have we done so far this year predicting the Class A districts and Class D-1 & D-2 district finals? Well, so far 29 of the 33 predictions have been correct in terms of predicting the winner (87.9%) and the correct winner with correct score has been predicted right 16 of 33 times (48.5%).
