Brooke Mosher of Waterloo High School and Milwaukee Sting 15 Sting Gold and Kayce Litzau of Greendale High School and Milwaukee 17 Sting Gold both have announced where they will be continuing their volleyball and academic careers. Both have families very familiar with the recruiting process and have been on the radar of a lot of coaches since the start of their club careers. Brooke’s older sister Madeline currently plays at Marquette with Claire set to join her next season. Kayce’s older sister, Lauren, is currently playing at the University of Minnesota.
Brooke Mosher will be taking her game to the Big Ten and Illinois.
Brooke Mosher – Waterloo High School – Milwaukee Sting – Class of 2021
Brooke has given her verbal commitment to play at Illinois, who is under first year coach, Chris Tamas. The Illini are playing in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Hawaii and if they are able to win, will play the winner of host, Washington, or LIU Brooklyn. Brooke is an all around player who played primarily on the pin this past high school season, but may see more time on 15 Gold as a setter with plenty of weapons to dish it out to. No matter what position she finds herself on the court, she is able to score points and is extremely versatile. This past season for Waterloo, as a Freshman, the Pirates qualified for the state tournament behind Brooke’s 449 kills and 452 assists.
Kayce Litzau is heading to Wichita State.
Kayce Litzau – Greendale High School – Milwaukee Sting – Class of 2019
Litzau has just recently made her verbal commitment to Wichita State University. The Shockers have recently made the move to the American Athletic Conference out of the Missouri Valley Conference, but the results are still similar with a 20-0 conference record and a NCAA Tournament 16 seed, giving them the honor of hosting a regional. Litzau and her Greendale teammates have made it a routine to be playing at the Resch Center in Green Bay the past three seasons. Litzau, like Moshier, is extremely versatile being able to set or swing out of the right side. The Shockers will be getting a player with an extremely high volleyball IQ and someone who can step in and play most positions. She was able to set and hit last club season for Milwaukee Sting 16 Gold that finished in the top four of the AAU Open National Championships. This past season for Greendale she tallied 842 assists and 138 kills.
