Kalynn Meyer is a sophomore at Superior High School. She is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln commit with 545 kills this past high school season. She is also ranked number 1 in the Prep Dig Nebraska Class of 2020 rankings. Here is my interview with Kalynn:
What is something that you are really proud of (non-volleyball related)?
“My family.”
If you had three wishes, what would they be?
“To have an unlimited supply of Adidas clothing and shoes, to be a volleyball player on the Olympic team, and to travel the world.”
What is your favorite childhood memory?
“Running and slipping on a soap covered trampoline with a sprinkler underneath.”
Tell me about something that volleyball or a coach has taught you.
“To focus on the next play.”
If you could meet any famous person in the world and have lunch with them, who would it be and why?
“Dave Franco because he is one of the hottest celebrities in the world.”
What is something not many people know about you?
“I am the second largest person in the family yet I have the smallest room, it may be smaller than some people’s master bathrooms.”
What is your favorite quote or saying?
“For with God, nothing is impossible.”
What is your dream job after college?
“To teach elementary students.”
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
“Winning state this year.”
Who do you look up to in your life?
“My oldest sister.”
