Prospect Alert: Five Class of 2019 Athletes on the Radar

The Minnesota North Country Region class of 2019 is loaded with talent across the state. As many of these athletes are starting to lock up their college commitments they continue to hone their skills and gain valuable experience among some of the best clubs and at events both in state and across the country. Here is a list of five athletes to keep an eye on as we enter into February and with some big events ahead. Amber Bretwisch | 5’8 S | Kokoro 17-1 | Woodbury HS 2017 Suburban East All-Conference honorable mention selection; Helped lead current club team to 7-1 record and 5th place finish in the 17/18 Gold division at the recent Big City Luau; Good feel for the game and touch; Keeps her offensive distribution varied among a talented attacking group. Jing Mcintosh-Yee | 5’10 OH | MVA 17-Elite | Minnetonka HS Recently led club team to 2nd place finish in the 17/18 Gold division at the Big City Luau; Feisty and competitive at the left side and through six rotations; Good athleticism and elevation and benefits from a nice arm and high contact point. Can hit for power, control, and off-speed; Has continued to improve in all areas of her game.
