<p>Multi time state champion Linsey Rachel of Maple Lake reflected on her senior year with Prep Dig today. </p>
<p>A 36-0 record in 2017 and a 30-3 record in 2016. Back to back state titles for the Irish and a 66-3 record in the last two years. Everything Linsey and her teammates have done turned into gold.</p>
<p>"There were so many memories made within the volleyball season my senior year," Rachel said. "It was so enjoyable spending it with nine other seniors that I have been playing with since I was young. There were many memories made together this summer in tournaments and camps. That’s really when we knew we had a great season ahead of us.</p>
<p>"One of the memories I will never forget is winning the state championship game with my teammates by my side! There is nothing that can explain that feeling"</p>
<p>Rachel has learned so much from her family members who were all around to watch Linsey celebrate her championship which is only fitting.</p>
<p>"My idols growing up have always been my three older sisters," Rachel said. "They have taught me a lot of what I know and pushed me to be the best I can."</p>
<p>Next up for Linsey is the college level playing in St. Cloud.</p>
<p>"In order to get ready for college volleyball I will get stronger in the weight room and focus on improving my skills on the court," Linsey said. "I have committed to St. Cloud State to play volleyball."</p>
