SubscribeSouthwest MN Volleyball came to be in 2016 led by Mike Dalager and the Boddy couple, Alex and Tyler. Their five teams have been making their presence known throughout the season and we can’t wait to learn more about the coaches and girls that make up this great program.
Philosophy: We love their team-centered goals:
1. To help each athlete increase their volleyball skill level through structured practices.
2. To help each athlete to understand the importance of the sport of volleyball from individual, team and
strategic standpoints.
3. To help each athlete approach the game of volleyball with good sportsmanship, a strong work ethic
and high motivation.
4. To have fun and successfully work with great teammates and staff members!
Schedule: The eleven coaches have put together a competitive schedule for all 49 athletes.
The two national level teams are 18-1 and 16-1. They will be the AAU Grand Prix is Siox Falls, Rochester Cup, Molten Cup, M1 Pre-Nationals and the AAU Junior National Championship in Florida. The 18-1’s team returns 6 of the 11 players from last year; they took first place in the 17-American division at the Northern Lights Qualifier in 2017.
College Pathway: They have several players who will continue their volleyball career in college and
