Weekend 1:
18’s Gold – The Iowa Rockets 18 R took first beating out SMV 17-1’s in two close sets. (25-22, 25-22). The Iowa team took down Matrix 18 red and Stewie17 Blue on their way to the championship. Likewise Southern Minnesota Volleyball 17-1’s beat out WEM 17’s and Kandi Elite 17-1.
18’s Silver- CMP won in two sets versus Stewie 18’s.
18’s Bronze champion – Watertown Wave 18’s
18’s Copper champion – Hayfield Sundogs
16’s Gold- Kandi Elite 16-1’s came out on top of Flight 15u to take first place. KEVC 16’s showed no mercy defeating them in two quick sets (25-15, 25-12). The battled with Kasson’s KEVB to make it to the championship match (22-25, 25-13, & 15-11). Flight 15u earned their championship match by beating out a strong Hammerhead 16-1′s team.
16’s Silver- Club Tonka defeated Stewie 16-1’s in two sets (25-21, 27-35)
16’s Bronze champion- Oahe 16-1
16’s Copper champion – Hammerhead 16 green
15’s Gold- The undefeated champion was KEVC 15-1. They battled against Hus-kee VC 15-1 but came out on top (25-14, 15-25, & 15-11). The Hus-kee’s were the only team able to steal a set from KEVC.
15’s silver champion– Winona JO 15U
Weekend 2: The 14u and 12u teams didn’t let a spring blizzard get in the way of their chance to play.
14’s Gold- SMV 14-1′s took down many great teams on their way to the championship. They went on 17-point run to come back from being down against Impact. Next, they snuck by KEVB (Kasson) in three sets. Then defeated long-time rival Stewie 14 Blue in two sets: (25-17 & 25-21.)
14’s silver champion- Eastview 13-1
12’s Gold- Club Tonka 12-1 took first place beating Mizuno M1 12-1 in two sets
12’s Silver champion- KVBC 12-1
12’s Bronze champion – Byron 12-1
