Committed to Nebraska
Kubik’s all around game has developed tremendously this club season making her into an even more lethal player. Teams used to score their points when she rotated to the back row; now she is just as big of a weapon through the back row. Kubik has lead her Powerplex team to an open bid at USAV nationals where they are predicted to finish very high. Keep your eye on Kubik, she will continue to put up big numbers at the club and High School level.
Kamryn “Kami” Knutsen – #22 class of 2019 – Iowa Rockets 17R/18R – S/DS/OH
Committed to Winona State
If you wanted a player that can basically do anything; Knutsen is your girl. Knutsen filled a role on Iowa Rockets 18R this season playing every position for Coach Stacey Ruff. She will continue that versatility on 17R to finish out the 2018 club season at USAV nationals in Detroit. Kami is one of those kids you just want on your roster; she is firey, strong and carries a huge skill set. We know Winona State Coach, Joe Getzin, will continue to use her in many roles at the next level.
Aimee Adams – #11 class of 2019 – IPVA 18 Black – RS
Committed to South Dakota
Adams has the size, build and athleticism that will allow her to be a force at the next level. The lefty right side has spent some time in the middle early in her career which has given her the ability to develop her versatility and IQ. She has the ability to hit with a ton of range that makes her very difficult to stop. She has only scratched the surface of how dominate she can be.
Maddy Baxter – #29 class of 2019 – Adrenaline 17 Rox – S
Uncommitted
Dynamic, athletic, high IQ – just a few words that describe uncommitted 2019 setter, Maddy Baxter. Baxter has led both her High School team and now her club team to huge success. Baxter isn’t flashy, she sets with ease and has impeccable location for her hitters. Everyone is waiting patiently to see where she ends up at the next level. Wherever it may be, we all know she will make a large impact.
Kate Shannon – #9 class of 2019 – Six Pack 17s – L/DS
Iowa State
Shannon is an elite defender. She has great athleticism for the position, allowing for her to have great range and a dynamic serve that applies significant pressure from the end-line. Due to her athleticism and platform Shannon’s talent level has an extremely high floor, but her competitiveness is what will allow her to reach her ceiling as a prospect.
