We will do a daily recap of some of our teams’ top performances!

14’s

Capital 14 Navy – 14 Classic Division

Won vs New WAVE 14 Hurricane (25-14, 25-11)

Won vs TOP SELECT 14 TOP (25-15, 25-16)

Capital also won their pool crossover match where they played the first place team from another pool.

Won vs BRAVO 14’U (25-17, 25-11)

Capital 14 Adidas – 14 Club Division

Adidas started pool play as the top seeded and didn’t drop a set all day!

Milwaukee Sting 14 White – 14 Club Division

Won vs Genuine 14 Elite Marc (20-25, 25-21, 15-11)

Won vs KA Ulukoa 14 Black (25-20, 25-16)

Won vs Dead Frog 14 Black (25-12, 25-14)

Milwaukee Sting 14 Gold – 14 Open

It’s no surprise that 14 Gold came in as the top seed. They took care of business in their first round of pool play with [player_tooltip player_id="81255" first="Adriana" last="Studer"] (Libero, 2022) keeping her team in system, strong swings by [player_tooltip player_id="57264" first="Brooke" last="Porter"] (Outside Hitter, 2022) and [player_tooltip player_id="81252" first="Maleah" last="Howe"] (Outside Hitter, 2022), and stellar net play by [player_tooltip player_id="81266" first="Riley" last="Dahlquist"] (Middle Blocker, 2022).

Won vs MAVA 14-Select (25-21, 25-19)

Won vs The Academy 14 Elite En Fuego (25-23, 25-10)

15’s

Milwaukee Sting 15 Gold

Gold came in as the top seed but certainly had to fight for their 3rd match win coming from behind to win in the 3rd set. Gold’s strong blocking and scrappy defense forced their opponents to make errors. Running a fast and balanced attack with clutch plays from [player_tooltip player_id="80721" first="Tatum" last="Catalano"] (Middle Blocker, 2021) and Makenna Wucherer (Outside Hitter, 2022, Minnesota commit) was just more than teams could handle in their pool.

Won vs LBVC 15 Gold (25-14, 25-22)

Won vs Summit 15 Blue Elite (25-20, 25-13)

Won vs Alliance 15-1 Mizuno (25-13, 18-25, 15-11)

Milwaukee Sting 15 Black – 15 Premier

Black had to fight for their first match win of the day and then they were dominant in the rest of their pool.

Won vs Wildfire 15 Nike Igmar (25-23, 26-24)

Won vs Dulles 15-1 (25-12, 25-4)

Won vs TeamD 15-White (25-16, 25-9)
