Day 8 In Orlando – Bracket Play
<p>We’ve covered the top performers on the first 3 days of GJNC for these teams, but now it’s bracket play. Sunday was win or go home, so let’s see who won their brackets!</p>
<p><strong><u>15’s</u></strong></p>
<p><strong>WI Juniors 15 Elite – 15 Aspire Division – Ruby Bracket</strong></p>
<p>Juniors went undefeated the first 2 rounds of pool play, and after facing some tough teams in the third round, they took charge of the Ruby Bracket Sunday morning.</p>
<p>Won vs Lions 15Navy (25-23, 23-25, 15-13)</p>
<p>Won vs Premier Trabuco (25-16, 25-18)</p>
<p>Won vs A5 Mizuno 154 Sydney (20-25, 25-19, 15-11)</p>
<p><strong><u>17’s</u></strong></p>
<p><strong>Milwaukee Sting 17 Gold – 17 Open Division – Sapphire Bracket</strong></p>
<p>Sting has faced some very tough competition the past few days, but with a roster full of D1 commits, they came out on top of the Sapphire bracket! Keep your eyes open for the commitments of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="33069" first="Christina" last="Roofe"] </strong>(2019 – 6’2” – Middle Blocker – Kettle Moraine) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56009" first="Maddie" last="Barber"] </strong>(2020 – 6’2” – Middle Blocker – Cedarburg).</p>
<p>Won vs Vegas Aces 17 Under Armor (21-25, 25-21, 15-12)</p>
<p>Won vs Alliance 17-1 Mizuno (25-13, 25-23)</p>
<p>Won vs Vega Baja 17U (16-25, 25-11, 15-9)</p>
<p><strong>Capital 17 Adidas – 17 Premier Division – Diamond Bracket</strong></p>
<p>Capital had an outstanding start to this tournament, and after a tough 3<sup>rd</sup> round of pool play, Capital took care of business in the Diamond Bracket.</p>
<p>Won vs Pittsburgh Elite Premier (25-22, 25-21)</p>
<p>Won vs Midwest Penguins 17 Black (25-22, 25-19)</p>
<p>Won vs JJVA TEAM ROX 17 Adis (25-19, 23-25, 15-13)</p>
