SubscribeORLANDO – As the second wave of competition concluded today at the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Nebraska ONE 17 Titanium lead Nebraska in another banner showing for the Cornhusker State.
With its third place finish in the 17 Premier Division at AAU, Nebraska ONE 17 Titanium helped bring the total number of top 10 finishes in the tournament by Nebraska teams to a total of six. A handful of divisions, most notably the 16s, begin the final wave of competition tomorrow.
Along with Nebraska ONE 17 Titanium’s third place finish in 17 Premier, VCNebraska 17 Elite capped off an incredible run in the 17 Open division with a 10th place finish, which included a very memorable win over highly-touted Northern Lights 171 in both pool play and a single-set playoff yesterday. Meanwhile, a third 17s team made it three top 10 finishes for Nebraska today when Nebraska Elite 17 Razee tied for ninth place in the 17 Club Division.
