A Look at the Returning All-State Players from a Year Ago

Even though it was only a little more than eight months ago, it feels like quite a while ago that the 2017 high school season concluded. As we have done every year, Prep Dig Nebraska named a first, second and third team all-state selection in each of the six classes as well as a first, second and third team all-Nebraska selection which merges all the classes together. Since it feels like forever ago, here is a reminder of the players that return for the 2018 season after making All-Nebraska or All-State honors in 2017. As you can see, a large number of the top players in the state return this fall. In total, 90 all-state players return this year, including the POY in Class A, B, C-2 and D-1. Players listed in boldare returning POYs in their respective classes.
