In Part 1 we talked about a couple of teams that we think will stay near the top and a couple teams that will make a push to break into the top 4 this season. Now we are going to take a look at some teams that may be closer to the middle of the pack, but don’t count them out because they can still surprise some teams.

DON’T COUNT THEM OUT

#5 - Brookfield East

34-14 Overall Record

7-1 Conference Record

#4 Maxpreps State Rank

By no means do I think East will be out of the mix in this conference, but they will be graduating 6 key contributors and only returning 2 big contributors. This will certainly be a bit of a rebuilding season that may bring East into the middle of the pack for a season.

#5 – DSHA #3

37-15 Overall Record

5-3 Conference Record

#3 Maxpreps State Rank

DSHA may not have won the regular season conference title, but they were peaking when they should, won the conference tournament, and made yet another trip to the Resch center. They are losing some really big contributors, but they are also returning some playmakers to carry a long standing tradition.

#5 - Wauwatosa East

17-17 Overall Record

1-7 Conference Record

East struggled in conference play last year, but had an OK overall season. They lost 4 to graduation, but they have some really key pieces returning, as well as a solid group to step into bigger roles. I think this team will be able to rise up into the middle of the pack this season.

Seniors Lost:

Tara O’Donnell – 5’7 – Setter

Led team with 450 assists and 39 aces (Career 912 assists and 89 aces)

#8 - West Allis Hale

29-14 Overall Record

4-4 Conference Record

Hale finished in the middle of the pack last year. With graduating 5 big contributors and only 3 key pieces returning, this could be a rebuilding season for Hale.

#9 - Wauwatosa West
