Greater Metro Conference Preview – Part 2

In Part 1 we talked about a couple of teams that we think will stay near the top and a couple teams that will make a push to break into the top 4 this season. Now we are going to take a look at some teams that may be closer to the middle of the pack, but don’t count them out because they can still surprise some teams. DON’T COUNT THEM OUT #5 - Brookfield East 34-14 Overall Record 7-1 Conference Record #4 Maxpreps State Rank By no means do I think East will be out of the mix in this conference, but they will be graduating 6 key contributors and only returning 2 big contributors. This will certainly be a bit of a rebuilding season that may bring East into the middle of the pack for a season. They are losing some really big contributors, but they are also returning some playmakers to carry a long standing tradition. They lost 4 to graduation, but they have some really key pieces returning, as well as a solid group to step into bigger roles. I think this team will be able to rise up into the middle of the pack this season.
