Uncommitted 2020’s To Watch: Athletes Among 76-100

<p>With the updated rankings for the class of 2020 now posted, its time to detail some of the uncommitted prospects on the list. This series of posts will break down the list into specific groups with focus upon a few athletes that have landed among that portion of the rankings. As many of these athletes are slated to compete for some of the best clubs that Minnesota has to offer, we can bet that their stock will continue to rise. Here are a few athletes from Prep Dig's class of 2020 rankings rated within 76-100:</p> <p><strong>Lexi Pew</strong> - MB | Morris Area | Kandi Elite Prep Dig #78<br /> Was selected the 2018 West Central Conference Most Valuable Hitter. Pew is athletic, has great length, and can get off the floor. With a high contact point she is challenging to defend. Improved greatly this high school season in all facets of her game. A competitive club experience will benefit her well regarding her competitiveness and assertiveness on both sides of the ball.  </p> <p><strong>Haley Hewitson</strong> - Lib | Benilde-St. Margaret | M-1 | Prep Dig #80<br /> Steady contributor as a primary passer and defensive leader. Good patience in serve receive and creates great angles with good footwork, simple movements, and a very stable platform. Reads and reacts very well. Vision and balance allow her to use her athleticism to create good range defensively. Metro West all-conference honorable mention selection in 2018.</p> <p><strong>Payton Marker</strong> - S | Shakopee | Northern Lights | Prep Dig #86<br /> Helped lead Shakopee to the Class AAA state tournament. Has great competitive experience behind her through both high school and club programs yet provides calm presence as the floor general. Undersized at the net but contributes well throughout all six rotations with good touch and set location from pin to pin.</p> <p><strong>Presley Fink</strong> - OH/DS | Northfield | Northern Lights | Prep Dig #96<br /> A great competitor with six-rotation capabilities. Undersized as an OH but is very effective with her athleticism and arm speed. Good ball control skills and range defensively helping contribute in big ways and through big plays at times for a solid and deep Northfield team throughout the 2018 season. </p> <p><strong>Bria Morris</strong> - OH | Marshall | SWMNVB | Prep Dig #97<br /> Helped carry Marshall to the state tournament again in 2018. Has a dynamic arm in that she can hit with heat or finesse with many shots and is not afraid to challenge the block. Good all-around skills and contributes in many ways both offensively and defensively. Competes very well and is proven as a point scoring OH at both the high school and club levels. </p>
