Let’s us help you get to know some of the Iowa Prep volleyball players this season. Next up is Dowling Catholic hitter Jacey Koethe. Jacey finished her senior season with 268 kills and 70 blocks for the Maroons. Koethe was a 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-District, and Honorable Mention All-State performer and she will be continuing her playing and academic career next year at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology as a Pre-Medicine major. Jacey is playing with Iowa Power Volleyball Alliance this season.
Q) What are you most looking forward to in 2019?
A) “I’m looking forward to graduating from high school and starting college volleyball!”
Q) What is your favorite thing about club volleyball season?
A) “My most favorite thing about club volleyball season is getting to meet and play with new people and playing against tough competition at big tournaments!”
Q) What is your favorite way to waste time?
A) “My favorite way to waste time is to watch Netflix because I love to watch movies and I get hooked on tv shows very easily.”
Q) What is the best team bonding experience you’ve had?
A) “The best team bonding tradition that I’ve experienced was on my high school volleyball team. We go to a teammate’s lake house a weekend right after the season starts and we all hang out, go tubing, and its a great way for us all to bond and build trust at the start of the season!”
Q) What is your favorite club volleyball tournament?
A) The MLK qualifier this weekend in Kansas City is one of my favorite tournaments and cities because it has great shopping and we get to play a lot of tough teams!”
