The Badger Region Championships will host 16s, 17s, and 18s this weekend for two days at the Wisconsin Center District in Milwaukee. While there will be a lot of committed players to watch, there are even more available athletes looking for their home after high school. Here are some of Prep Dig’s top ranked available 2019 athletes playing this weekend!

2019s

#3 [player_tooltip player_id="33042" first="Olivia" last="Olson"] - 6’0 – Setter – New Holstein – One Wisconsin 18-1 – Prep Dig Ranked #42

Olson will be playing in her last Badger Region tournament before playing her final club tournaments in Indiana, Kentucky, and Texas. She runs a solid offense and can lead her team to big wins. She also has the size and ability to be a solid setter and right side at the next level.

#25 [player_tooltip player_id="33048" first="Carissa" last="Sundholm"] – 5’9 – Outside Hitter – Wisconsin Lutheran – Milwaukee Sting 18 Black – Prep Dig Ranked #48

Sundholm is one of the best kept secrets and hidden gems on the volleyball scene in Wisconsin, but Prep Dig is working on that, and college coaches, so should you! She is a solid athlete that tallied over 1100 kills and 850 digs in her career at Wisconsin Lutheran. The Sting 18 Black squad has plenty of strong athletes and will be a strong competitor this weekend.

#11 [player_tooltip player_id="33050" first="Ashley" last="East"] - 6’0 – Right Side Hitter – McFarland – Capital 18 Adidas – Prep Dig Ranked #50

[player_tooltip player_id="33050" first="Ashley" last="East"] will be playing in her last Badger Region championship before heading to the JVA World Challenge in Kentucky and then finishing up her club career in Texas. East is solid on the right side. Capital has power at the other pin as well with [player_tooltip player_id="32736" first="Bailey" last="Neuberger"] (2019 – Committed To Southern Illinois) and [player_tooltip player_id="32729" first="Sopheea" last="Mink"] (2019 – Committed To High Point).

#21 [player_tooltip player_id="33052" first="Sarah" last="Malone"] – 5’7 – Libero – Waunakee – Capital 18 Adidas – Prep Dig Ranked #52

Malone has had a stellar senior year with Waunakee and now for Capital. Capital is a team that has been playing extremely well lately, winning the Badger Region Qualifier with [player_tooltip player_id="32724" first="Kiana" last="Schmitt"] (2019 – Committed To Creighton) controlling the net. Malone is an unsigned 2019 Libero and would be a solid catch to compete at the next level.

#29 [player_tooltip player_id="33069" first="Christina" last="Roofe"] – 5’10 – Middle Blocker – Kettle Moraine – Milwaukee Sting 18 Black – Prep Dig Ranked #69

Roofe is one of the top hitters still available from the Class of 2019. She has a high reach and a big block, even though being a smaller middle blocker. Sting 18 Black is a super scrappy group with some undersized pins in [player_tooltip player_id="33062" first="Kaylee" last="Lorincz"] and [player_tooltip player_id="33048" first="Carissa" last="Sundholm"], who are strong six-rotation players, as well as setters [player_tooltip player_id="32734" first="Brianna" last="Merkel"] and [player_tooltip player_id="33046" first="Darragh" last="Dixon"].
