The 18 Open features a really solid crop of future Division 1 talent.

Prediction: FaR Out 18 Black takes it. Their challenging schedule this season should have them prepared to prevail this weekend.

Overview: MVA 17 National Black looks like it could be the team to beat while Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno could be right on its heels. This nine-team field is pretty wide open with PGH Elite and Impact VBC being a pair of out-of-state contenders.

Prediction: MVA 17 National Black has been the most consistent in this group in terms of winning and I think that will continue in Pontiac.

Overview: Michigan Elite 16 Mizuno and FaR Out 16 Black should be eyeing each other up in this field and it won’t take long for the two to cross paths, as they meet Saturday at 10 a.m. MVA 16 National Black could play a potential spoiler.

Prediction: FaR Out and Michigan Elite should have some good showdowns this weekend when they cross paths and I think the title comes down to one of those two. Michigan Elite will have the home-court advantage, which could give it that little boost.

Overview: Michigan Elite 15 Mizuno comes in as the favorite, but the home-town team will be challenged by Indiana-based squads, TI Elite 151 and Dunes 15 Black.

Prediction: Michigan Elite has a really talented roster of rising stars and I think this will be a good showcase for them. I like 15 Mizuno to take the crown.
