[program_tooltip program_id='431531' first='Capital' last='Volleyball Academy'] is based out of our State's Capital, Madison. They have produced A TON of talented players that have gone on to have successful college careers at all levels. Capital is the premier elite club in the Madison area.

18 Adidas has plenty of talent but continues to compete with a very difficult schedule that has caused some struggle. This particular group has players going in many different directions to many different levels. So far this season they won the Badger Region Qualifier and have gone 10-2 in the Badger Region Power League.

All Levels Covered…. Almost

It's really fun to see this team has players heading to every division and level the game has to offer except for Junior College. At the Division 1 level Capital has Jakscht (UW-Milwaukee), [player_tooltip player_id="32736" first="Bailey" last="Neuberger"] (2019 – 6'0 – Outside Hitter – Committed To Southern Illinois University), Schmitt (Creighton) as well as Malone and [player_tooltip player_id="32729" first="Sopheea" last="Mink"] (2019 – 6'2 – Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter) headed to High Point. East is the lone D2 commit heading to Bemidji while Lydia Kneubuehl (2019 – 6'0 – Middle Blocker – Committed To UW-Stout) and Brianne Korducki (2019 – 6'0 – Middle Blocker/Outside Hitter – Committed to UW-Lacrosse) are headed to D3 schools. [player_tooltip player_id="33127" first="Abbey" last="Johnson"] (2019 – 5'8 – Committed to Viterbo) is taking the NAIA route instead of going down the NCAA path. Their roster is loaded with future college players, and we can't wait to see how they do!

Got A Lot Of Fight

A lot of schools have ferocious animal mascots and fiercely competitive soldiers. This group has its fair share of those soldiers in a few different forms. Capital has a couple senior warriors from Waunakee with [player_tooltip player_id="32724" first="Kiana" last="Schmitt"] (2019 – 6'3 – Middle Blocker – Committed To Creighton) and [player_tooltip player_id="33052" first="Sarah" last="Malone"] (2019 – 5'7 – Libero – Committed To

High Point). They are joined by Spartan [player_tooltip player_id="33050" first="Ashley" last="East"] (2019 – 6'0 – Right Side - Committed To Bemidji) and Trojan [player_tooltip player_id="33091" first="Matison" last="Jakscht"] (2019 – 5'8 – Libero – Committed To UW-Milwaukee). These fighters will be looking to finish strong in the Badger Region Power League and then wrap up their senior year in Texas at the end of the month.

“I'll Be Back”!

At the end of the club season [player_tooltip player_id="80190" first="Caroline" last="Craig"] (2020 – 5'8 – Setter) will be the lone 18 Adidas to say this as a 2020 recruit. You may not be familiar with her name but watch out for her this fall at Madison Edgewood along with 17 Adidas setter, [player_tooltip player_id="12970" first="Ella" last="Foti"] (2021 – 6'1 - Committed to Marquette) and 16 Adidas outside hitter, [player_tooltip player_id="81254" first="Natalie" last="Ring"] (2022 – 6'0). This is a group you won't want to run into. After playing up an age level and what should be a stellar senior year Craig will be a great addition to any college program.

Middle Strong

Teams won't find a weak front line against this group. Typically, teams have a hard time getting a lot of depth in the middle position, but 18 Adidas has 4 experienced middles. Jakscht and Malone give this squad a solid first contact for Craig to run any option and keep those middles involved. I hope to see this group finish strong and best of luck to the seniors in their future endeavors!
