Iowa Rockets 16-1
Iowa Rockets 16-1 have some big hitters and a really gritty defense to make a run in the Patriot Division. With the 16th overall seed in a field of 62 teams. They will have the top seed in their pool followed closely by Forza1 National out of So Cal and TAV Houston, both teams from big time clubs.
Hailey Pollock is a go to middle for Rockets where she can hit the quick to the deep corner as well as find and open spot to score points on a tip. This squad has solid ball control throughout the lineup starting with Maya Morales and dynamic athletes in Grace Ehret and Kennedy Bombei. A hardworking lineup with speed and athleticism can really create a mismatch and in hopes for Rockets to be in the hunt to compete for a Patriot Division title.

Iowa Select 16 Mizuno
Ava Schubert of Iowa SelectIowa Rockets took home a runner-up finish in the 17-18s Division at the Prep Dig Gauntlet defeating the likes of Nebraska Juniors 17 Black (finished top half of 17 Open at AAU) and FC Elite (17 National Qualifier). Their lone loss was to CIS 17M. Elyse Winters is picking up so much momentum as an outside hitter, she is dangerous point scorer in any rotation. Martha Pace is another solid option for Rockets who can score and defend in all six rotations along with Katy Garrison on the right side. Libero, Addie Schmierer provides a solid and consistent first contact. Lots of options and a lot of firepower from this lineup.
Iowa Select 16 Mizuno just has a toughness and grit to them where they can scrap out a win. The Schubert sisters are to point scorers with Emma on the outside and Ava on the right side with a big left handed swing, she will be an incoming Freshman this fall. Caidince Cleveland commands the backrow with a ton of athleticism in the libero position which really is what the whole team is about, solid fundamentals and athleticism to make plays happen.
16 National
Six Pack 16U
Six Pack 16s at Northern Lights QualifierSix Pack won the National bid from the Iowa Region and was only a few wins away from claiming an open bid at some national qualifiers. Eve Magill is the high powered recruit who is on the pin and has committed to Creighton. She teams up with setter and high school teammate Jaz Yamilkoski from Xavier. Another high power point scorer out of the middle is Ashlynn Kuhn out of Hudson who has been on fire this club season running tempos in front and behind the setter. Magill, Dani Johnson, and Morgan Middleton all get their kills, but Kuhn is the one who can take over a match.
CIS 16M has a really dynamic team that can do a lot of different things with their lineup. Layanna Green will be one to watch out of the middle. The Iowa high jump champion can do some pretty special things along the net. Faith DeRonde is from the Class of 2022 and one of the pin hitters who can score a lot of points in a hurry. Overall, this squad is so balanced and athletic, they all find a way to contribute.
