Champion Campbell County is poised to represent the 10th Region in the KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament. However, a coach and a player from title contender Bracken County earned the top individual honors from the 10th Region Volleyball Coaches Association. After suffering a loss in the semifinals of the 10th Region Volleyball Tournament, Bracken County exited the 2019 season 20-17. Bracken County is the reigning 39th District champion.
Still, Campbell County is well-represented on the All-10th Region Teams.
A breakdown of the 10th Region volleyball honors for the 2019 season follows.
10th Region Coach of the Year: Wade Smith (Bracken County).
10th Region Player of the Year: Aryah Myrick (Bracken County).
All-10th Region First Team: Aryah Myrick (Bracken County), Katie Stonich (Harrison County), Olivia Crowl (Campbell County), Keaton Mossman (Scott), Marie Kieffer (Bishop Brossart), Anna Wolf (Calvary Christian), Rylee McKinney (Campbell County).
All-10th Region Second Team: Kyra Curtis (Bourbon County), Ansley Shields (Montgomery County), Gabby Kallmeyer (Scott), Lauren Heck (Bishop Brossart), Haley Kitchen (Bourbon County), Emma White (Nicholas County), Caroline Abney (Calvary Christian).
