2A talent shines in Finals

<p>Some of the best student-athletes rose to the occasion in the 2A championship match. </p>
<p>St. Teresa defeated Mater Dei 25-22, 26-24 but not without a battle. The game was splattered with talent in all positions. Offensive and defensively, both teams were loaded! Let's look at the very best! </p>
<p><strong>Abby Robinson, 2020, 5'8, OH, St. Teresa<br />
</strong>Abby Robinson was amazing for St. Tereasa, finishing with 8 kills and a .250 hitting percentage as well as collecting 11 digs on the night. As an outside hitter, she transitioned well and it was tough to stop her at the net!</p>
<p><strong>Lexi Huck, 2020, 5'10, S, St, Teresa</strong><br />
With a hitting percentage of .455, achieving 6 kills while handing out 23 assists is pretty amazing for anyone, but Lexi completed the athletic acts as if it was an everyday occurrence.</p>
<p><strong>Tori Mohesky, 2022, 5'10, OH, Mater Dei<br />
</strong>Tori Mohesky had 8 kills, 2 service aces, and 5 digs. she led the team in a fight that couldn't quite finish, but Tori is the playmaker for the Lady Knights.<br />
<strong><br />
Valerie Nutakor, 2022, 5'11, OH, St. Teresa</strong><br />
The sophomore outside, Valerie had 8 kills and a .300 hitting percentage for the match. Two assists, 1 ace, and 3 digs round out her stat line.</p>
<p><strong>Layo Oladipupo, 2023, 5'7, S/DS, St, Teresa<br />
</strong>A serving specialist for the match, Layo came away with three aces and held her service during the match to cause problems for Mater Dei. Moving into her next three years, Layo will be a great player in this team's system!<br />
