Anna Law (Sr., OH/OPP/MB, Ohio County, College: Queens University of Charlotte): Law, who wrapped up her high school career in late-October, following a loss in the opening round of the 3rd Region Volleyball Tournament, recorded 256 kills, 35 blocks, 126 digs and 50 aces during Ohio County’s 2019 regular-season. A Queens University of Charlotte (NCAA DII) commit, Law led Ohio County in both kills and aces.
Hannah McGill (Sr., RS, North Oldham, College: Campbellsville): One of the top players for 8th Region champion North Oldham, McGill has recorded 210 kills in 92 sets. McGill ranks second in kills for the Mustangs. She has committed to Campbellsville, an in-state school which competes in the NAIA’s Mid-South Conference.
Kaylee Newsom (Sr., S, Eastern, College: Indiana University-Southeast): The productive Newsom led Eastern in both digs (356) and aces (44). Newsom has committed to Indiana University-Southeast, a member of the River States Conference (NAIA). The commitment to Indiana University-Southeast will allow Newsom to stay close to home.
Samantha Walton (Sr., OH, Bryan Station, College: Transylvania): Walton will stay in her hometown of Lexington following a commitment to Transylvania (NCAA DIII). One of the top high school volleyball players in Lexington and a versatile performer, Walton helped to lead Bryan Station to 25 wins in the 2019 high school volleyball season.
Grace Ward (Sr., S, Notre Dame, College: Transylvania): A key player for 9th Region champion Notre Dame, Ward will be a teammate of Walton’s at Transylvania beginning in 2020. Heading into the KHSAA Volleyball State Tournament, Ward has delivered 1,218 assists in 116 sets. In addition to the 1,200-plus assists, Ward has recorded 255 digs.
