Prior to signing with Ohio State, Rader received offers from numerous college volleyball programs. The final two colleges Rader considered were Ohio State and Florida.
Rader helped to lead Assumption to three straight state championships. As a junior, Rader was named All-USA Volleyball Player of the Year by USA Today after helping the Rockets to a 43-0 record and a No. 1 national ranking. In 2018, Rader earned numerous All-American honors. Rader was chosen as Kentucky’s Gatorade Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018. The 2018 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball, Rader was named First Team All-State and an Under Armour All-American following her senior season.
Rader spent her club career with KIVA, helping another tradition-rich program thrive.
In addition to Rader, opposite hitter Emily Londot, who starred at Utica High School (Ohio), signed with the Ohio State volleyball program.
Ohio State competes in the Big Ten Conference, along with Wisconsin, Nebraska, Penn State, Minnesota, Purdue, Michigan, Illinois, Michigan State, Maryland, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana and Rutgers.
